The 27th Annual Pawcatuck River Duck Race will be held on Saturday April 24th, 2027 in Donahue Park in Pawcatuck. The fun starts at 11:30 AM!

In this yearly event, 20,000 rubber ducks are released into the Pawcatuck River, situated on the border of Westerly, RI, and Pawcatuck, CT. The race is a fundraiser benefiting numerous local charities. Alongside the excitement of the race, attendees can enjoy various family-friendly activities including children's games, bounce houses, food booths, and more! The proceeds from the Pawcatuck River Duck Race support local schools and non-profits, typically exceeding $60,000 for the participating groups.
With over 90 fantastic prizes available to the winning ducks, including the grand prize of a trip for a family of four (2 adults & 2 children) to Disney World, complete with hotel accommodations, airfare, and park passes, or an alternative $2500 cash prize. Each year, the event attracts thousands of spectators to downtown Westerly-Pawcatuck, captivating a large audience of local children and families.
